How does a hotel door lock system work with hotel software?
The lock system has an encoder at the front desk that writes key cards. When it is connected to your hotel software, staff make a card from the booking with the right room and dates, and the card stops working at check out. Keyvasa connects to supported lock brands in this way.
Which lock brands are supported?
Keyvasa supports ASSA ABLOY VingCard and Vostio, dormakaba and Ambiance, Salto, Salto KS and Homelok, Onity, Hune, Guli, Adel, Bonwin, Great Wall, Xeeder, BTLock, Lark and locks that speak FIAS. Tell us your lock model on the demo call and we will confirm it works before you decide.

What does the desk do?
At check in, the desk makes a key card from the booking. The room and the dates come from the stay, so nobody types them again. Extra cards for other guests in the room work the same way, and the card stops opening the door when the stay ends, so old cards do not keep working.

What does it cost?
Door lock integration is an add on at ₹975 a month for the hotel, on top of any plan. The Pro plan also includes key cards from the lobby check in screen. You keep your existing locks and encoder; Keyvasa connects to them rather than replacing them, so there is nothing new to buy from us.

Common questions
Do I need new locks?
No. Keyvasa connects to the locks and the encoder you already have, if the brand is supported.
Can guests open the door with their phone?
A phone key is part of the Everything plan for supported online locks. Ask us on the demo call whether your locks support it.
What if my brand is not listed?
Tell us the brand and model. If it speaks FIAS it may already work; otherwise we will tell you plainly.
